Almost all of us tend to ease up on wearing sunscreen as soon as the weather turns cooler. The temperature may drop during cold weather but that does not change anything about sun’s harmful rays. UVA radiations are as harmful in winters as they are in summer. No need to mention that when you are exposed to sun, these rays reach deeper into the skin and contribute to wrinkles while prolonged exposure can increase the risk of cancer. Therefore, use of sunscreen should not be limited to summer alone. If you are still not convinced, below are some reasons that might change your mind.
Who does not want to have a younger looking, radiant, and healthy skin? Everyone does! But how many of us really take good care of our skin? So, if you really want to prevent your skin to develop signs of ageing such as wrinkles and fine lines, you should start using an effective sunscreen. Summers or no summers, always wear a good sunscreen.
Did you know applying sunscreen can also help you prevent the onset of that irritating blotchiness and eruptions of red veins on your face? Yes, it can, besides, it also prevents the onset of acne and other sun rays induced damages.
You can protect your skin proteins, such as collagen, keratin, and elastin by using sunscreen. These proteins are required to keep skin smooth and healthy.
Apply sunscreen an all exposed areas such as your face, hands, nose and ears before you step outside.
It’s not just your skin that you need to protect; your eyes need protection from UV radiation as well. A good pair of sunglasses should deliver UVA and UVB protection when you are on the go.
