Laugh out loudWhen is the last time you laughed loudly? If you thought that laughing whole heartedly is impolite, think again. Laughter is not only a sign of happiness but also a sign of good health. Since laughter is the best medicine, it is not surprising that laughing for just thirty minutes each day can relieve you of stress and all the various stress related illness. It is almost impossible for all of us to avoid stress thanks to our lifestyles.

This makes us susceptible to 70 percent of all illnesses. But don't let that increase your blood pressure, because all you have to do to keep these illnesses at bay is to laugh…laugh really hard!

WHY LAUGHTER? To start with, laughter makes you feel better in an instant. A moment's laughter makes you feel instantly elated, enhances the aesthetic value of your face, improves blood circulation, increases oxygen level and reduces tension. In the long run laughing regularly improves stamina, boosts immunity, controls diabetes, asthma, insomnia, chronic bronchitis, hypertension, anxiety, depression and migraine. An added benefit of laughing is that it releases endorphins, which is a natural pain killer.

MORE THAN JUST HA....haa…... A popular club in Bangalore attracting people is the Jayanagar Laughter Club. Laughter Clubs are a great way to relieve stress and ease your pains. Between each exercise they relax by laughing and clapping loudly. The force used to laugh works out your abs making this a great way to lose weight and get a trim physique. "Apart from curing illnesses, laughing also brings fairness to your face," said Belliappa.
