Fitness expert Kiran Shawney tells us how to make the abdomen flat and the body toned by doing the intermediate crunches. An intermediate crunch focuses on the core. To do the intermediate crunches, bring both your legs up and fold them from the knees to form an L. Ensure that your spine lays flat on the mat or floor and does not arch. Place both your hands on either sides of the forehead and lift your chest up and down to the floor. Keep your chin up and exhale as you lift your chest up. Repeat at least 20 times to avail maximum benefits.
