To do the calf raises exercise, step atop a raised platform in such a way that the heel hangs out of the platform. Gradually raise your legs up and bring them down. You may keep your hands on either sides of the waist while you lift your leg up and down. Breathe out as you raise your heels and inhale as you bring the heels down. Ensure that only your heels and toes move.
