A diet for body building consists of adequate amount of calories and proteins. However the actual caloric amount would depend upon the height, gender and age. Body building requires lot of strenuous activities so more of protein should be taken in the diet. Eggs, chicken, sprouts, and pulses are good source of protein. Water should be consumed in an adequate amount to avoid insensible water losses from body during the exercises.
