Chemical peel treatments are helpful in such cases of acne where topical or oral medications show little or no results. The different kinds of acne, like the grade 1 which is just blocked pores or the grade 2 or 3 in which red raised lesions with pus can be seen, or the Acne Conglobata, which is a type of bigger cystic acne, all of these can be treated effectively by using peels,such as salicylic peels or mandelic peels. The marks and blemishes left behind the acne can also be successfully removed using chemical peels.
