Crush an uncoated aspirin in warm water and allow the mixture to settle on the stain for a few hours. Use the conventional washing method after this.

    Dandruff control shampoos and conditioners are must-have toiletries for people who see flakes on their shoulder every now-and-then. But aspirin can come to your rescue here too. The salicylic acid found in aspirin is a compound used in medicated anti-dandruff shampoos. Take two uncoated aspirins and crush them. Add them to a tablespoonful of shampoo and wash your scalp with it.
