The side-effects of Viagra have been well documented since then, which include vision complications and hearing loss. It has now been found that even skin cancer can be added to the list.     Melanoma

    According to a study of 25, 000 men done over a period of 10 years, those men who used viagra for ED had a significantly elevated risk of melanoma, even when they controlled for major risk factors including family history of melanoma, sun exposure, and UV intensity in the state of residence. It was published in the journal JAMA Internal Medicine. Further research is going on to see how it’s dosage and frequency can be related to melanoma risk.

    Sudden Vision Loss

    Using Viagra may lead to vision problems, including blindness. It may cause changes in visions, such as blurred vision, difficulty distinguishing between blue and green, or noticing a blue tinge on objects. As reported by research, some men have experienced partial loss of eyesight after taking Viagra. Vision loss taken after the use of Viagra is believed to be caused by blocked blood flow to the optic nerve.

    Sudden Hearing Loss

    To reach the heights of passion, you wouldn’t want to risk losing your afterward pillow talk. Sudden hearing loss has been linked with the use of Viagra and similar impotence drugs. Experts uncovered 47 suspected cases of sensorineural hearing loss  (SSHL)– a rapid loss of hearing in one or both the ears – linked to Viagra and related drugs such as Cialis and Levitra.

    Chest Pain

    Viagra comes from a class of medicine called PDE5 inhibitors. Mixing PDE5 inhibitors and nitroglycerin (medicines for heart problems) makes the effects of these similarly functioning drugs double or triple and causes a sudden dangerous drop in blood pressure. Talk to your doctor before taking Viagra if it can interact with other medications that you might be taking.

    Get emergency medical help if you have any of the signs of an allergic reaction such as hives, difficulty breathing and swelling of your face, lips, tongue or throat. Even during sexual activity, some people might feel dizzy or nauseated, or may feel pain and numbness in their chest, arms, neck, or jaw.

    Heart Problems

    An increased sexual activity because of Viagra may put extra strain on your heart, especially if you have heart problems. If you experience any of the serious side-effects while having sex, stop and get medical help right away. Severe dizziness, fainting, chest/jaw/left arm pain, nausea, etc. indicate that your heart is experiencing problems during the activity; so be cautious.

    Viagra could make your erection last for hours and the condition can be painful. In a rare case you have a painful or prolonged erection lasting 4 or more hours, stop using this drug and get medical help right away, or permanent problems could develop.
