There are some problems that do not harm health but, can be embarrassing for many of us. Although we leave most of these problems to get better on their own, there are a few tricks that can relieve you of the trouble instantly. Here are some of them.

    Don't Wait!

    Hiccups, blisters, ingrown hair and other similar problems of the body may not pose a threat to your life but, surely they are a threat to your self-confidence. Most people treat them as occasional irritants and wait for them to get better on their own. But, there are very simple ways with which you could make them go away faster and prevent them completely. Here is a list of a few such remedies.

    Waterlogged Ears

    When you swim or take a shower, the water enters the ear canal and interferes with your hearing. Most people tilt their heads to drain out the water. But, there is a better and much easier way to get rid of this irritating problem. Hold your hair dryer a few inches away from the ear. This will help you dry the fluid.

    Hiccups

    When your diaphragm starts contracting, you experience involuntary hiccups. But, don’t you worry because there are some tried and tested remedies to help you get rid of the irritating hiccups. Down a glass of water or hold your breath while drinking.

    Dry Mouth

    When the production of saliva slows down, it causes dry mouth. This can happen when you are not drinking enough water. To treat this, drink more water, chew sugar-free gum or suck sugarless hard candy.

    Blisters

    The friction caused from the shoe rubbing against the foot can cause fluid to collect between layers of skin giving birth to bubble-like blisters. Avoid popping the blister and let it dry. But if you wish to pop it, make sure that your hands are clean and you use a sterile needle.

    Constant Sneezing

    If you have sneezing fits regularly, it may mean that you are allergic to something in the environment. It can also indicate a viral infection. Many people are allergic to pollens and animal dander. Try to stay at a distance from such irritants.

    Stiff Neck

    When you use your laptop or smartphone for a long duration, it can strain the neck muscles, causing pain and stiffness. To avoid this, make sure that you are sitting in the correct posture. While in office, position your chair, computer keyboard and monitor in a comfortable position. The same must be done at home.

    Chapped Lips

    Dry air can make lips dry. Thus, the cold weather or too much exposure to the sun can make your lips chapped. Apply balm more frequently which will shield the delicate skin of your lips and will heal them quickly.
