    Primary Orgasm Problem

    The primary orgasm problem in women refers to a situation where a woman has never had an orgasm so far. While the reasons for not ever having an orgasm can be widespread the most common reason is the lack of interest or not being able to enjoy sex. Lack of knowledge about sex can also be a common reason for this problem.

    Secondary Orgasm Problem

    Another common sex problem in women is the secondary orgasm problem. It refers to a situation where a woman used to have orgasms in the past but can't experience the same now. The most common reasons for this problem are relationship problems, tiredness and previous bad sexual experiences.

    Less Pleasure

    Not enjoying sex or less stimulation can also be a problem for women. The blood supply to the clitoris can also affect the pleasure in the act. Studies are being done to establish the affect the blood and nerve supply to the clitoris on the sexual stimulation.

    Another common problem comes from past traumatic experiences especially involving sex. While it can be mood spoiler for any woman, it is easily treatable. A psychosexual therapy session with a professional can help a woman overcome such emotional problems.

    Lack of Drive

    Lack of sex drive can be problem for women. Reasons like diabetes, depression, hormone disorders, relationship problems, substance abuse or even tiredness can kill the sex drive in women. While it may be a situational problem for some, other women may experience it all the time.

    No Desire

    Women may also experience loss of desire for sex due to fall in the testosterone levels. Testosterone, produced in the ovaries and adrenal glands, directly affect the sexual desires. A high testosterone level will result in more desire for sex while low levels of testosterone may result in loss of desire.

    Dyspareunia

    Another common sexual problem in women involves lot of pain during the act. Also known as dyspareunia, this problem is quite common after a menopause as the oestrogen levels fall making the vagina dry even during the act which in turn can cause lot of pain.

    Vaginismus

    Vaginismus is another problem for women that is related to sex. When muscles in or around the vagina go into spasm it is called vaginismus. It makes sexual intercourse quite painful.

    Fear of Pregnancy

    While it sounds like a good news when the time is right, most women don't want to get pregnant without planning. Despite the use of proper protection during sex, the thought of getting pregnant may reduce the pleasure or affect the desire for sex.
