    Laryngitis is a condition involving irritation and inflammation of larynx which results in a common symptom of hoarseness or loss of voice.     Onion Syrup

    One of the most effective home remedies for the treatment of laryngitis is onions. Onion syrup works as a natural cure for larynx inflammation and provides quick relief. Chop couple of onions to very small pieces and simmer them in a bowl of water to prepare the syrup. Now a couple of spoonfuls of this syrup to a cupful of warm water and drink it every 4-5 hours.     A pinch of salt in a cupful of warm water can be very helpful in treating laryngitis. Add a teaspoonful of salt to a cupful of warm water and gargle with it every couple of hours. The inflammation would be a lot better by the end of the day. Image Courtesy: Getty

    Garlic offers great antimicrobial properties that can help kill bacteria and viruses and therefore, reduce the inflammation and laryngitis itself. Put a small garlic clove inside of your mouth and suck on it slowly. Take it several times a day for quick relief. Image Courtesy: Getty

    Ginger helps soothe the mucous membrane around larynx, providing quick relief from inflammation. Boil chopped ginger in a pan, strain the liquid and cool it down a little.  You may also add lemon juice and sweeten it withs honey. Drink this ginger tea several times a day.     Lemon Juice

    Apple Cider Vinegar

    Speak Less
