    Oral Health

    Chewing the fresh bark of babul’s tree regularly can be very helpful for the oral health. Chewing on the babul’s bark not only helps in strengthening the loose teeth but also heals the bleeding gums.

    Diarrhea

    Babul can also used to treat diarrhea of ordinary intensity. Take 12 gram combination of babul leaves along with white and black cumin seeds thrice in a day. An infusion made of babul’s bark can also be taken for the same purpose.

    Eczema

    The bark of babul is also useful in the treatment of eczema. Boil 25 gms of babul and mango bark in one liter of water in a such way that vapours should forment the affected part. Apply ghee on the affected part after the fermentation is done.

    Conjunctivitis

    The leaves of babul tree are also quite effective in treating the Conjunctivitis. Take few leaves of babul tree and grind them in to paste. Apply this paste on your eyes at night with the support of a bandage which should be removed the next morning. This method is very effective in treating the pain and redness of the eyes.

    Epiphora

    It can also be used to treat epiphora, which is the watering of the eyes. Take 250 grams of babul leaves and boil them in one and a quarter liter of water. Keep this solution in a well corked bottle after filtering it.

    Fresh pods of babul tree are considered very effective in treating the sexual dysfunctions such as spermatorrhea and premature ejaculation. It is also popular for its aphrodisiac properties.
