Banish your chin twin with these exercises

Double chin could become a reason of embarrassment for you at many instances. So, if you are tired of being called a turkey neck do these exercises regularly and get rid of your double chin forever.

    No More Turkey Neck

    Double chin is a common problem experienced by men and women who are overweight. And, only people who have a double chin would understand how unattractive it can be. At times your double chin may also make you a laughing stock amongst a group of friends who may give names like turkey neck and chin twin. Sadly, getting rid of double chin is not all that easy and one has to religiously follow some workouts to banish it.

    So, here are few exercises which will help you get rid of the embarrassment.

    Neck Rolling

    Stand straight upright and bend your neck to one side in a way that your chin is parallel to your shoulder. Start moving your neck slowly downward and then up towards the other side. Repeat this at least 10 times.

    Working Out the Platysma

    Platysma is the muscle which starts from your jaw and runs down till the neck. Put your neck straight and tighten your tendons inside the jaw by pulling the lips over teeth and turning the corners of the mouth downward. Stay in this position for 10 seconds and repeat it 10 times.

    Pressing a Tennis Ball

    Put a tennis ball against the neck and hold it with your chin. Press your chin against the ball and release it a little. Repeat this 10 times.

    Chewing Gum

    This is the easiest of all exercises and needs no special time or attention. Just chew a gum and this would make your jaw muscles strong and reduce the double chin. Make sure that the gum you are chewing is sugar-free.

    Chin Lifts

    When you lift your chin upwards, it strengthens and tightens the muscles of the face and neck. Stand up straight and raise your chin towards the ceiling. Tuck your lips towards the ceiling and hold it like this till a count of 10. Repeat this 10 times.

    Exercise the Whole Body

    When you exercise the whole body the eventual weight loss will lead to shedding of the facial fat also. Perform general cardio exercises like running, swimming, and cycling which can make the face thinner.

    Chin Slap

    Use back of your hand and gently slap the under portion of your chin. Increase your speed gradually and keep doing this for few minutes and repeat it 2-3 times a day.
