Sleep is one of the most crucial and basic requirement for a healthy life. Everyone needs ample amount of sleep daily. While sound sleep can rejuvenate you for a fresh start every day, lack of sleep can have some negative effect on your physical as well as mental health.

    Lack of sleep will make you feel too tired too soon during the day. Your body needs ample sleep to recharge itself for a fresh start next morning. Make sure you get uninterrupted sleep for around 8 hours every day otherwise don't be surprised if you feel tired next morning.

    Sleep deprivation also has a negative impact on your ability to concentrate during the next day. Your mind needs sleep as much as your body needs it. Make sure you get good amount of sleep if you have a important event next day.

    Less sleep or even poor quality sleep has been a major factor in several road accidents. Lack of sleep causes drowsiness while driving which can reduce the driver’s reaction time as much as alcohol does. Make sure you get good amount of sleep if you are hitting the road for a long drive.

    Sleep deprivation can also harm your overall health as it can increase the risk of several serious diseases like heart problems, high blood pressure, stroke and diabetes.     Sleep deprivation can also take a toll on your career. Lack of sleep will affect your performance and efficiency in the office. It is recommended to get at least 7 to 8 hours of uninterrupted sleep every night just to avoid such problems.
