    An individual is a commitment phobe when he has no intention of making a commitment to the person he loves. Such a person has negative self-beliefs about commitment, love and relationship. He will seem to find reasons to back away and gradually sabotage the relationship and end it soon. If you have been struggling to be in a relationship for long enough, you could be a suffering from this type of phobia. So, let’s run a reality check.

    A commitment phobe controls his schedules and when you do catch up with him, it is nothing more than a casual date. When he says that he adores you and wants to spend his life with you, you must make the next move. If things remain unchanged and you still don’t feature in his priorities, bid adieu!

    If you haven’t met each other’s friends, family or co-workers after years of dating, you are not really becoming an integral part of his life. If he continues to do so i.e. keep you out of his plans with his gang and come up with excuses when you suggest hanging out with him and the rest of his friends, you need to take control of the situation.
