7 Effective Home Remedies to Deal with Panic Attack

During a panic attack, your body tries to take in more oxygen and your breathing quickens. It sure is a very unpleasant condition to be in. Fortunately, there are several home remedies that can relieve symptoms of panic attack effectively.

    Panic attacks have no specific cause. A combination of biological factors, perceptions and environmental factors like social stressors play a role in causing them.     Almonds are abundant in vital nutrients and minerals like potassium, calcium and magnesium that improve the functioning of the nervous system and keep your brain sound and healthy. They can also help in preventing panic attacks. Soak 15 almonds in water and leave them overnight. Peel the almonds in the morning and grind them to a fine paste. Mix this paste in a glass of hot milk and add some sugar. Drink this potion every morning to get relief from panic attack.

    The antioxidants and polyphenols in green tea protect the brain from oxidative stress and lessen the activity of monoamine oxidase, thus preserving the health of the brain cells and tissues. The polyphenols help in counteracting stress that is associated with panic attacks. If social factors are responsible for causing panic attacks in a person, they should substitute caffeinated drinks like tea and coffee with green tea.
