    One of the preliminary signs of a kidney disease is a change in urination pattern. Greater flow of urine may be an indication of possible kidney problem. Another possible sign of kidney disease is frequent need to urinate, especially during the night.

    Pale urine and presence of traces of blood are common indications of a kidney disease. These changes in the urination should not be ignored as all this could be because of a possible kidney disease. In worse conditions the colour of urine may turn even darker due to high traces of blood.

    When the kidneys are unable to work properly, water builds to cause swelling in the body. This condition, known as edema, is one of the main symptoms of kidney disease.

    Kidney diseases directly affect the movement of oxygen in the body. The slow movement of oxygen causes fatigue, causing the brain and muscles to feel tired.

    Uremia is a symptom where a person experiences a metallic taste in the mouth and ammonia like breath. Uremia is a result of high waste in the blood, which in turn is caused when the kidneys are not healthy.

    Kidney disease is usually accompanied by loss of appetite. If there is a recent change in the urination pattern and also a loss of appetite then it is quite possible to be due to a kidney disease.
