But amazingly they are also loaded with appetite killing fiber that digests slowly and thus, stays in your stomach for a much longer duration than other carbohydrates, keeping your full for longer. Studies suggest that pine nuts have a unique fatty acid known as pinolenic acid that helps in reducing appetite signals in the body.

We are sure this did not surprise you at all? Right? Oats are touted to keep you full for longer and they are also effective in squelching the desire to eat between the meals. Besides, oats can help you amplify body’s levels of the craving regulating hormone known as cholecystokinin that helps control or reduces hunger in some people.

You can also curb your appetite by eating apple. The fruit contains ample amount of fiber that keeps you feeling full. Besides, this miracle food also contains pectin, which is known to prevent rise in blood sugar levels that incite hunger.
