Your marriage is perfect. The decision to get married to your partner is one of the best decisions you have ever made in your life. But, hang on! Did you know one word could shatter your fairytale life? That word that everyone dreads could stop you from starting your family: `infertility’. So, if you want to remain fertile, beware of these 10 factors that could make you infertile.

Male Infertility

Over Use of Laptop

Food, water, electricity and a laptop. These are some basic requirements of an urban life now-a-days. Right from ordering your meal to making money, laptops are needed for everything. But this overuse of laptops has raised an alarm. Scientists claim that keeping laptop on your thighs can affect your sperm quality, eventually making you infertile.

The list of diseases associated with obesity is really long. And one of the effects is infertility. While in men it affects the sperm count, in women it can be a cause of miscarriages and disruptions in the menstrual cycle.

Male Infertility

Just like obesity, the harmful effects linked with smoking are numerous. The ill-effects on your health are very prominent and are out there in public. In a report by the British Medical Association, it was shown that smokers have up to 10-40 percent lower monthly fecundity rate.

Tight Underwear

There are several studies that show that tight underwear can send the oestrogen levels soaring. The scrotum is placed a little lower to the body because it needs to stay cooler. Therefore, when you wear a tight underwear it raises the temperature and affects the production of sperm.

Low Fat Dairy Foods

We have always heard that having ice-creams and milk products can be good for fertility, but a study has shown that women having low fat dairy products in excess are 85 percent more likely to experience ovulation problems.
