Boric Acid


A chemical substance with mild antiseptic, antifungal and anti viral properties in it, studies has shown that boric acid is a safe, inexpensive and safe remedy for yeast infection. You should take some boric acid and dilute it with water and then apply this solution over the affected area on the skin, finally leave it for a few minutes. Then finally you should rinse this area thoroughly with plain water and do this daily for two weeks. You could also pop in boric acid capsules to treat vaginal infections. However, you should be careful not to use it for a prolonged period of time as boric acid tends to be toxic. Boric acid should also be avoided by pregnant women.

Cranberries


Cranberries contain both the antibacterial and antifungal properties and therefore you can use it to fight the fungi that are responsible for yeast infection. One could also use cranberries to treat urinary tract infection or some other bladder infection. You should drink unsweetened cranberry juice several times a day as this will fasten the healing process and you will get positive results in a short span of time.

Coconut Oil

In order to treat your yeast infection in both men and women coconut oil be come into some real good use. Coconut oil has antifungal properties in them which are very helpful in killing the fungi that is responsible for your yeast infection. You can also apply coconut oil on your affected areas thrice a say in order to get rid of the infection completely. You could also make a mixture by adding equal amounts of coconut oil and cinnamon oil and then apply on the skin areas. This will also control the growth of the infection.
