Moles are a cluster of pigmented cells that are generally dark coloured, slightly raised and sometimes hairy as well.  Also known as nevus or nevi, they are present on epidermis (the outer layer of the skin). Moles are mostly harmless, it is only in some cases that they become cancerous.

Ayurvedic Home Remedies for Moles

  • A quick ayurveda home remedy for moles is pineapple. Apply few drops of pineapple juice directly on the mole. Within few days you will note that the mole will either fade or completely diminish. Repeat it several times a day for best results.
  • Apply green tea oil on the mole for eight to ten days.
  • Put few drops of grape fruit extracts on a cloth or bandage and wrap it on the mole. Change the bandage after every five to six hours.
  • Flax seed is an effective treatment option for moles. Mix a drop of flaxseed oil with a drop of raw honey and apply it on the mole.
  • Crush a garlic clove and place it on the mole. Now cover the area with bandage.
  • If you have an itching sensation in the mole, massage it with castor oil twice a day.
  • Apply cauliflower extract on the mole several times a day. Repeat this for two to three days and the mole will drop off. Cauliflower extracts work best for the thicker and warty moles.
  • Mix 1 tablespoon of sea salt, 3 tablespoons of castor oil and 1 teaspoon of lime juice. Apply the mixture on the mole and massage gently. Leave for twenty to twenty-five minutes and rinse with cold water.
