Arguing coupleBeing in a relationship with a ladies’ man is not the easiest thing for a girl. You know that he will always hang out with his “gang” and there is nothing you can do about it. The real trouble begins when he starts taking you for granted or simply ignores you for trivial issues of other girls. For instance, when you demand an explanation for his company, he shrugs it off with an oft-repeated line, “They are just friends sweetheart. Stop being jealous.” So far so good but when you call him for the routine chit chat at night, he hangs up as some other girl is calling for advice on a personal issue, it starts to get fishy!

You need to be patient in such situations. Hanging up from time to time to talk to another friend is not a big deal but have you begun to feel everyone other than you has become a priority for him? It may be time for a reality check on your relationship. Is he implementing the advice that his female friends give into your relationship instead of thinking about it himself? It is well and good to have a bunch of friends to share intimate details but that group should not influence how your relationship works with him. Such an occurrence should be considered as a decisive signal that something is wrong with the intimacy in your relationship.

So, where does your relationship go from here? You will need to be proactive to help your relationship. Face the situation boldly, to get your man back, or may be to end it all on a positive note! You can follow the plan of action given below -

  • Try to know more about his friends. The next time a date is cancelled for being with his group, request him to take you along. Gain an insight on why he prefers to stay with his group and how is it more enjoyable.
  • Guard against becoming the possessive partner who claims her right on him. It can embarrass him and he might resist bringing you along the next time.
  • If you find that there is one girl in particular who is closer to him than others, make friends with her. Try to know her real intentions. If you find her to have some ulterior motives, let him know about this without being judgemental.
  • Convey your emotions to him. Tell him that you would like to spend more time with him or that you find a particular girl irksome, without sounding possessive. Being possesive will make him defensive and he will not be his usual self when communicating with you on these issues.

All this will boil down to whether both of you are willing to spend your entire lives together. Friends will come and go, but your soul mate will stay!
